Why Holistic Skincare Matters
A Bit About Wild Hope Botanicals
Ethically Sourced | Small Batch | Handmade in Maine
I would love to invite you to explore my handmade skincare offerings. You might be wondering why a circadian wellness educator, health coach, and mother of two would take time out of her busy days to craft botanical balms and serums and what it has to do with your health and well-being.
The answer is simple. I love sourcing the very best ingredients that nature has to offer and turning them into nourishing creations that feel and smell amazing on your skin. Nature is healing and so is sunshine. How we experience the sun is highly individual, depending on our skin type, and this is an important part of what I teach as a circadian wellness educator. By choosing fresh, non-rancid, organic/wild/ethically sourced ingredients, we are giving our skin nourishment, not toxins, and thus supporting our overall health at a deeper level.
Some of my favorite ingredients include jojoba and sea buckthorn. Jojoba helps your skin stay balanced and hydrated, supporting its natural resilience and barrier function. Sea buckthorn nourishes the skin and helps it interact with the outside world more harmoniously, supporting hydration, repair, and vitality. From a quantum biology perspective, these high-quality ingredients provide the body with high quality information, without the confusion caused by chemical additives and toxins. Using these oils is one way to align with a circadian-friendly lifestyle, by caring for your skin in rhythm with your body and the natural cycles around you.
Choosing carefully sourced skincare products is not superficial: it’s an essential way to honor your health and well-being.
